VNA Meals on Wheels
VNA Meals on Wheels offers meals to Dallas County residents who are unable to provide for themselves. The cooks begin preparing the dishes at 5:00 a.m. and load vehicles at 10:30. VNA was one of the first Meals on Wheels programs in the United States, and it serves thousands of people every year.
Each volunteer makes deliveries to twelve to fourteen seniors five days a week. There are approximately 200 drivers, and they cover around 300 routes.
