Initially opened in Washington D.C., a second location arrived right here in Frisco in 2018. Chef Jose Andres is a James Beard Award-winning chef and the creative force behind Zaytinya. The Turkish pasta cooked in shellfish broth includes shrimp, squid, and octopus, while the Texas striped bass showcases a unique flavor profile of fennel and raki (a Turkish aniseed-flavored liqueur). Beef and lamb selections abound on the meat portion of the menu and range from beef and lamb meatballs with warm cinnamon and allspice to spit-roasted lamb shoulder with traditional Greek feta and dill.
Zaytinya welcomes diners into its modern interior featuring a sleek color palette of crisp whites and blues. Large windows bring in natural light, highlighting the tall ceilings, and cushioned booths connect seamlessly to create a communal feel. Smaller tables for more intimate gatherings weave throughout the dining area, ensuring a variety of options available to suit your dining party’s needs. Zaytinya opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
