Cheer on the Frisco RoughRiders at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark

If you enjoy baseball, then head to theĀ Dr. Pepper Ballpark where you can watch the Frisco RoughRiders take on their opponents. Just nine minutes from The Maxwell, the stadium is widely recognized as one of the best ballparks in minor league baseball.

Highlights include:

Frisco RoughRiders

Established in 2003, the Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. The team has led Double-A in attendance for the last fourteen years, and several of the players have gone on to the major leagues.

Ballpark Tours

The 45-minute ballpark tour offers a unique look behind-the-scenes. It gives participants a chance to see areas that the average fan cannot access, and the cost is just five dollars a person.

Lazy River

Known as one of the most unique ballpark features of any stadium, the lazy river is a fun way to watch the action. Found above the right field wall, it spans over 3,000 square feet and offers unparalleled views of the field. The river is open during every home game and is especially popular on hot summer days. Ticket holders can also enjoy endless hot dogs, brats, chips, and peanuts for 2.5 hours.

Party at the Yard

The stadium boasts that Party at the Yard is the biggest 21 and over shindig in North Texas. Tickets grant access to the game, and the fun also includes one dollar beer, delicious food, and a DJ who spins the latest hits. Tickets are ten dollars in advance or twelve dollars on game day.

Team Shop

Fans who want RoughRiders gear can find shirts, hats, and more at the team shop. The staff is friendly, and they welcome guests Monday through Friday.
